LOVE IT!, August 22, 2011 This review is from: Maclaren Techno XLR Stroller, Coffee/Powder Pink (Baby Product) I love this stroller. I have had it for about 27 months! My daughter is 27 months! I love the fact that it has an attachment for a car seat. We are pregnant right now and I will be using it for this baby as well. A previous poster had commented though about the wheels touching the canopy (mainly the pink piping/trim) when the stroller is closed. I will agree with the poster that the piping/trim gets dirty. I was, like the poster, at my wits end on attempting to get it clean. I tried everything to get the dirt and grime off and nothing seemed to work. Yet, I have been recently turned on to Bronner's Soap - it works wonders! I decided to try to clean the canopy with the about a couple of squirts of soap and the rest water in a spray bottle...well it took it right off. So, problem solved. Otherwise, this stroller is the best. It turns on a dime, its lightweight, it compact, and it gets many compliments! :) Definitely a good investment and purchase.

This is a very sturdy umbrella stroller. I have had mine for 4 years now and never had a problem. Also the pink parts are completely clean. I love this stroller and would purchase again.

My sixth MacLaren, and a real lemon - with *terrible* customer service!!, July 29, 2010 By This review is from: Maclaren Techno XLR Stroller, Coffee/Powder Pink (Baby Product) We've owned six (6) MacLaren strollers, including this one.
In spite of the recall, we felt confident in buying another MacLaren for the arrival of our fourth child - and in fact purchased this for the car seat adapter, something MacLaren had never provided in the past.
We used a Graco car seat, the exact model specified on the MacLaren materials and website. The bar that attaches to support the car seat was only initially tight-fitting, and within the first month of use it snapped off multiple times, causing the car seat to nearly fall to the ground. (Thankfully the belt was very firmly attached, so the baby was not injured.) The seat adapter *was* installed exactly as the directions advised, and my engineer husband even tried to determine a better/safer means of using this.
Additionally, the stroller is wobbly; not stable as our other MacLarens have been, and the side 'lock' that is to keep it closed when folded frequently comes unlatched... Read more
